Microform Service

In the main public search room you will find 23 microfiche readers. 3 microfilm readers and 3 film/fiche reader-printers. As the readers are heavily used, we recommend booking a reader in advance of your visit. We will generally book you on to a reader for up to half a day. However, there are two fiche readers set aside for all day bookings. Our staff are happy to give you advice on the equipment most suitable for your research.

Charges

There is no charge for using our machines, but we do make charges for printouts from microfilm or fiche. Please see our list of charges.
