Unit for Studying Spoken Language - IdentityThis unit has been designed to make the curriculum come alive for both the students and the teachers. It includes a range of teaching strategies and creative resources for students to enjoy analysing how they themselves use language and also to evaluate how others use language. The unit of work last up to 12 lessons, although some of the lessons may take longer with certain groups and so the unit is designed to be flexible for teachers to dip in and out of. The unit is in five parts leading up to the controlled assessment task. It would be advisable for students to develop their knowledge and practise their skills by competing tasks from each part, but that does not have to be every part of every lesson. Download ZIP files
