Wiltshire and Swindon has a rich and diverse heritage. The new History Centre brings together the archaeology, archive, buildings record, conservation, and museum advisory services together with the county local studies library to create a centre whose sum is much more than that of its parts.

Monday - Closed

Tuesday 9.30 am - 5.30 pm

Wednesday 9.30 am - 5.30 pm

Thursday 9.30 am - 5.30 pm

Saturday 9.30 am - 5.00 pm*

Sunday - Closed

* Alteration to Saturday service (see below)

* Saturdays: Original documents can only be viewed between 9.30 am and 2pm (last orders for orignal documents by 1 pm). Microfiche and film, computers, printed maps and the Local Studies Library will continue to be available to customers throughout the day.
